A Great Success- Our Summer Fair

On the 1st July we held a Summer Fair to raise awareness for learning disabilities and mental health. Our local community, residents, families, friends were able to get together and enjoy a day in the sunshine. On the day, our resident David DJ’d for us throughout, Sam ran our Tombola stall and Gillian looked after the Tea Rooms. The local firemen popped down to see us and attendees were able to have a look round the fire engine. We had multiple food and drink stalls, hook a duck, giant bowling, ka-plunk, tombola and raffle prizes. We raised £792.25 on the day which is going towards our resident’s forum for a trip to the seaside of choice and more group activities. We would like to thank the staff team and residents involved in all the planning months before and throughout the day of the event, without your support it wouldn’t have been possible. We are so thankful for everyone who attended and contributed on the day.
