Cristal Care’s The Pleasance hire a sports hall weekly which residents enjoy to go to as a group. The sports hall is used for a variety of different activities which makes exercising fun. Since lockdown the sports hall has been closed for use and residents have been supported by staff to adapt to changes in their daily life and a new normal. The Pleasance team had an idea to bring the Sports Hall to them if we couldn’t go to it.
The Pleasance gathered the variety of different purchases they’ve made over the years and RW dusted off her roller skates, helmet and kneecaps to get outside. ST got a basketball team together and RJ enjoyed showing off his football skills again. If we can’t get to the sports Hall- We’ll bring the Sports Hall to us!
